Local librarian to give free training on market research tools

Spokane Valley will partner with Startup Spokane on Wednesday, Jan. 16 from noon to 1, to provide a free training on market research tools, given by Mark Pond, business reference librarian with the Spokane Public Library. This one-hour class is part of the city’s “Lunch and Learn” series and begins at noon at the Spokane Valley City Hall, 10210 E. Sprague Avenue. It addresses a variety of research tools that are available to entrepreneurs and business owners in the greater Spokane community. Bring a brownbag lunch. Please email or call (509) 720-5333 to RSVP.

The city partners with several organizations to promote business development workshops, webinars and other training to help local entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses succeed. These events provide information and opportunities to network. Some training is free and some is fee-based. For information on other training partners, visit our “Connect and Learn” resources web page.
