Learn how to raise business capital at April 17 workshop
Rick Repp, principal attorney at Witherspoon Kelley, will discuss raising business capital from angel, venture capital and private equity investors, and what an entrepreneur needs to know about private offerings at a one-hour “lunch and learn” workshop from noon to 1 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, at the Spokane Valley City Hall.
Repp is a business lawyer and principal at the law firm of Witherspoon Kelley where he practices in the areas of corporate, securities, mergers and acquisitions, banking and general business transactions. During the past 17 years, he has represented clients in more than 65 securities offerings, including private placements with an aggregate value of over $850 million and numerous registered public offerings. An active member of the local entrepreneurial community, Repp serves on the boards of directors of the Spokane Angel Alliance and Innovate Cheney (an advisory board of Startup Spokane), and is a frequent guest lecturer at Gonzaga University and Ignite Northwest. Repp graduated from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration in 1992 and the University of Idaho College Of Law in 2001.
