Register for Aug. 21 workshop: ‘Recession Proof Your Business’
Recession Proof Your Business
The City of Spokane Valley and the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to offer a free “Let’s Talk Shop” workshop for business leaders. The program, “Recession Proof Your Business” will be Wednesday, Aug. 21 from noon to 1:30 p.m. (with an additional 30 minutes for Q & A) at the Spokane Valley City Hall, located at 10210 E. Sprague Avenue.
Jeanette Radmer, Relationship Manager from Washington Trust Bank will present the program. Radmer has been consulting and educating small businesses in Washington state for over 20 years. She holds a M.B.A. from the University of Idaho and has extensive experience assisting small businesses with creating business plans and establishing financing solutions.
Whether business owners believe we are headed towards a recession or not, this workshop outlines how to gauge the financial health of their business to discover how it will stand up to the “stress” of a challenging economic environment. The outcomes those attending should come away with include:
- Recognizing the key financial indicators that point to their resilience
- Considerations to address efficiency and optimization
- Community resources and tools to support practical changes
- Increased collaboration and partnering opportunities
The workshop is open to the public, not just chamber members. Register at the Chamber of Commerce website or call 509-924-4994.
