[ARCHIVED] City Parks being Vandalized

Browns Park Restroom Vandalized with Graffiti

Please Report Suspicious Activity During the Hours of Darkness

Spokane Valley Deputies are working to identify the suspect(s) who vandalized Browns Park over the weekend.  This isn’t the first time criminals have felt the need to post graffiti at the park, leaving the Spokane Valley Parks/Maintenance Crews to clean it up.

Anyone with information about who may have caused this damage is encouraged to contact Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

We also urge people who live in the area or are passing by the park to report suspicious activity anytime, especially during the evening/night when the park is closed, to call and report it to Crime Check immediately.  (Park Hours April 15 - October 15, 6:00 am to 9:00 pm)

The weekend vandal posted graffiti all over the buildings and structures at Browns Park.  This is not only a crime; it also must be cleaned up by the Spokane Valley Parks/Maintenance Crews.  This selfish act of vandalism is a blight on our beautiful park and must stop.

We ask you to join with us to stop the vandalism of our parks and hold the people accountable for their criminal acts.

Please report noise or suspicious activity in Browns Park or any City park during the hours of darkness, when the park is closed, and any suspicious activity at all hours to Crime Check at 509-456-2233.
