S Sullivan Rd Preservation – Topographic Survey Services
Bid Questions / Addenda #1 

All proposers are required to base their Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) furnished in these questions; The following corrections/modifications are hereby made a part of the Request for Qualifications.

1. Question: On page 3, under Project Experience, the RFQ states “Firm and team members must have demonstrated experience in each of the following categories for projects that have been completed in the State of Washington, within the past five (2) years.” Please confirm if the correct number is two or five.
a. The city is seeking project experience within the past two (2) years.

2. Question: Does the 11 point font limit apply to graphics and tables?
a. Proposals will not be rejected if graphics and tables include font below 11 point, however the content may not be considered if determined to be against the intent of the RFQ for concise language.

3. Question: We are looking at the RFQ for Topographic Survey Services on S Sullivan Rd and I have a question regarding the Project Delivery portion. It seems geared towards construction contracts. Can you clarify what the City is looking for from a past survey project delivery perspective?
a. The city is looking to evaluate the ability to accurately assess project cost and schedule during the negotiation phase and then deliver on those assessments for past projects. The wording on this portion shall be revised to the following:
Project Delivery: (20 points, max)
For each project listed in the "Project Experience" section above, provide the following information:

1. Successfully negotiated project costs and final costs. If the final cost was not within the successfully negotiated amount, provide a brief explanation.
2. List the schedule originally negotiated, and the actual delivery of the project survey. If the actual delivery differs from the original schedule, provide a brief explanation for the difference.
