Broadway Ave. Preservation
- Pavement preservation project that grinds and overlays Broadway Ave from Fancher Rd. to Thierman Rd.
- Anticipated construction dates: June 19th – July 2023
- One lane in each direction will be provided on Broadway for the duration of the project.
- Traffic devices will direct traffic through work zone.
- Access to businesses are open.

8th Ave Improvement
- Repaving, Stormwater, sidewalk upgrades between Carnahan and Park Rd
- New Sidewalk on north side of 8th between Thierman and Park

- Intermittent Flagging on 8th Ave between Carnahan and Thierman

Local Access Streets - Summerfield Neighborhood Paving Project
- Pavement preservation project that removes and replaces asphalt for 10 local access streets in the Summerfield Neighborhood.
- 25 sidewalk access ramps will be improved.
- Anticipated construction dates: July 10th – August 2023
- Roads will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project.
- Traffic devices will direct traffic around the work zone.
- Access will remain open for local access.

Barker Rd at Union Pacific Railroad Crossing - Phase 2
- This paving project widens Euclid Ave and Barker Rd at the crossing of Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR).
- The project includes the addition of turn lanes; water, sewer, & stormwater utilities; a sidewalk on Euclid Ave.; and completion of the multi-use trail on Barker Road north of Euclid Ave to Trent.
- This final phase of the Barker Rd widening project requires coordination with the UPRR to replace the railroad tracks and crossing equipment.
- Anticipated construction dates: July 17th – October 2023
- Barker Road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project at the intersection of Euclid Ave in the vicinity of the Union Pacific Railroad; and Euclid Avenue will be closed between Barker Rd and Harmony Rd.
- Traffic devices will detour traffic around the work zone.
- Access will remain open for local access.
- During construction of the multi-use trail on Barker Road north of Euclid Ave to Trent, traffic control for a lane shift will be utilized to direct traffic through work zone.

Private Construction Work
Buttercup St Closure at 16th
Waterline replacement & road improvements
- Upcoming road closures are scheduled as follows:
- Monday, June 26 – S Buttercup Street will be closed to thru traffic. The closure is scheduled to last Approximately 3 weeks.
- Thursday June 29 – E 16th Ave will be reduced to one lane traffic with flaggers, S Buttercup will remain closed.
- During the road closure and flagging, residents will be allowed to access their homes from Wardson Ave, and come and go as needed by using alternate routes around the active work zone waterline installation progresses.
