Sullivan Rd. Improvement

• Reconstruction of S. Sullivan Rd. from E. Sprague Ave. to E. 8th Ave.
• Anticipated construction dates: 05/22/23 – October 2023
• Sullivan between 4^th ave and Sprague will be closed to all traffic – 7pm 9/22 to 6am 9/24. 4^th ave west of Sullivan will be open as a detour
• No turns from 4^th onto or off of Sullivan during the week
• Access local businesses through the work zone at designated entrances. 
• Traffic devices will direct traffic through work zone.

8^th Ave Improvement

• Repaving, Stormwater, sidewalk upgrades between Carnahan and Park Rd
• New Sidewalk on north side of 8th between Thierman and Park
• Anticipated construction dates: 06/20/23 – September 2023
• 8^th Ave intermittent flagging between Carnahan and Park from 9/16/23-9/29/23

Barker Rd at Union Pacific Railroad Crossing - Phase 2

• This paving project widens Euclid Ave and Barker Rd at the crossing of Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR). 
• The project includes the addition of turn lanes; water, sewer, & stormwater utilities; a sidewalk on Euclid Ave.; and completion of the multi-use trail on Barker Road north of Euclid Ave to Trent.
• This final phase of the Barker Rd widening project requires coordination with the UPRR to replace the railroad tracks and crossing equipment.
• Anticipated construction dates: July 17^th – October 2023 
• Barker Road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project at the intersection of Euclid Ave in the vicinity of the Union Pacific Railroad; and Euclid Avenue will be closed between Barker Rd and Harmony Rd.
• Traffic devices will detour traffic around the work zone.
• Access will remain open for local access.
• During construction of the multi-use trail on Barker Road north of Euclid Ave to Trent, traffic control for a lane shift will be utilized to direct traffic through work zone.

Broadway and Park Intersection Improvements

• Reconstructs the existing intersection with concrete pavement, replaces old signal system, storm water improvements and new sidewalk on the west side of Park Road.
• Anticipated construction dates: August 8th – October 2023 
• One lane in each direction will be provided on Broadway.
• Park Road between Broadway Ave and Cataldo Ave will be closed to through traffic.
• Park Road between Valleyway Ave and Broadway Ave will be closed to through traffic.
• Traffic devices will direct traffic through work zone.
• 2-Week Closure on Broadway (scheduled for 9/27 to 10/11).  Broadway/Park intersection will be closed to all traffic for the final concrete paving within the intersection and on Broadway.  Detour route will be provided on Heacox, Sprague/Appleway and Vista.
• Access will be provided for property owners within the closure.
• Businesses are open.

Utility Work

N. Pierce Rd. and E. Boone Ave.
• Rebuild and reinforce gas line.
• Anticipated construction date: 09/29/23
• Single lane closure. Flaggers onsite. Signs posted.
