Term: 2026-2029
Councilmember Mike Kelly began serving his first four-year term in January 2026.
Councilmember Kelly is a business owner and landlord. He worked for over 28 years as controller and CFO of a construction company specializing in public transportation projects. Kelly participates on the board of a local non-profit and is a mentor in the Washington Policy Center Young Professionals program.
Kelly attended Brigham Young University and served on the Spokane Valley Planning Commission from March 2024 – December 2025. He is married with three grown children and six grandchildren.
