Let’s Talk Shop: Washington State’s New Long-term Care Insurance

The City of Spokane Valley in partnership with the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a virtual “Let’s Talk Shop” workshop via Zoom on Tuesday, August 31 from Noon to 1 p.m.

Jennifer Hanson, legal counsel from Associated Industries will outline the basic elements of Washington’s new Long-Term Services and Supports Trust Act, also known as the WA Care Trust. Attendees will learn about employer responsibilities, employee obligations, options related to opting-in or being exempted from the program, as well as important deadlines.
