Spokane Valley partners with local organizations to celebrate the holidays

 

 

Spokane Valley, WA – The community is invited to enjoy several family-friendly festive events in Spokane Valley throughout the holiday season. The City has partnered with the Rotary Club of the Greater Spokane Valley for both tree lighting and breakfast with Santa events, and the Spokane Valley Farmer’s Market for the second annual Spokane Valley Winter Market.

 

“The holiday season is a wonderful time to celebrate and enjoy time with our friends and family,” said Spokane Valley Mayor Pam Haley. “We are grateful for our community partnerships that help make these events possible and create lasting memories for our residents.”

 

Details of the events include: 

 

Celebration of Lights Tree Lighting 

Friday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. at Spokane Valley City Hall (10210 E Sprague Ave.)

Enjoy a festive holiday tree lighting event with music, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa.

 

Breakfast with Santa

Saturday, Dec. 2, with mealtimes at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. at CenterPlace Regional Event Center (2426 N Discovery Pl.)

The $5 per person ticket includes a warm pancake breakfast, crafts, games and a visit with Santa. Learn more at SpokaneValleyWA.gov/665.  

 

Spokane Valley Winter Market

Friday, Dec. 15, from 3 – 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at CenterPlace Regional Event Center West Lawn Plaza (2426 N Discovery Pl.)

Find gifts from local small businesses and vendors selling holiday wares. Attendees can enjoy a beer garden by LeCatering, food trucks and kids crafts, as well as support the community by dropping off food donations.
