[ARCHIVED] City Kicks Off 2024 Construction Season

News Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 19, 2024

Spokane Valley, WA – With the arrival of spring, the City of Spokane Valley’s construction season will launch soon. The community can expect to see an array of construction projects taking shape throughout the city. To help residents, businesses and visitors stay informed about these projects, the City has launched a new webpage that provides essential details about each effort at SpokaneValleyWA.gov/Construction.

The following capital improvement and transportation projects aim to improve congestion, freight mobility, and access to goods and services, as well as enhance safety and emergency access, support businesses, spur economic development and enhance the overall quality of life in Spokane Valley. 

  • Pines Road/BNSF Grade Separation Project
  • Sprague Stormwater and Multi-Modal Improvements Project
  • Flora Cross Country Park Project
  • Pines Road and Mission Intersection Improvements
  • Balfour Park Expansion Project - Phase One
  • Trent Avenue Access Control Safety Improvements
  • Citywide Reflective Backplates Projects
  • Local Access Pavement Preservation Services Program
  • Bowdish Road Improvements
  • 16th Avenue Preservation Project
  • Indiana Avenue Preservation - Phase 1
  • Sullivan Park Waterline Project
