All development activities that occur within shoreline jurisdiction are subject to chapter 21.50 of the Spokane Valley Municipal code and chapter 90.58 of the Revised Code of Washington. Generally, shoreline jurisdiction includes lands extending 200 feet from the ordinary high water mark (OHWM); floodways and contiguous floodplain areas landward 200 feet from such floodways; critical areas within the shoreline and their associated buffer areas; and lakes.
