Formers Denny’s is prospect for a new Circle K. This convenience store, gas station, and car wash has been eyeing the Sprague and Pines corner location. Applications show that part of the project will replace the old Denny’s lot, and the rest will be on vacant land east of the lot. (Jul 2025)

UPDATE F5 Inc building construction underway. This $12 million office building project hosts a 57,000 square foot building just west of Pines Road. (Jul 2025)

UPDATE Dave & Buster’s officially opens its doors in August. Plans say that there will be 160 employees to staff the 24,000 square foot hub. (Jul 2025)

New apartment complex underway, value at $8.5 Million. This 42-unit apartment building will be three stories called the Mason Apartment Complex. (Jul 2025)

UPDATE AMI Metals expands its footprint in Spokane Valley. (Jun 2025)

New commercial building project to be built on 512 N. Evergreen in the valley. This building will be a two-suite commercial building called the 512 Evergreen Professional Building. Construction will include a 4,230 square foot suite and a 2,600 square foot unfinished unit. The project comes to a total value of $1.3 Million. (Jun 2025)

Liberty Lake Family Therapy Clinic opens on 18621 E. Alki in Spokane Valley. The site was originally a single-family home that will be reconstructed into the one story 3,800 square foot building. (Jun 2025)

A new café featuring grab-and-go salads and fresh-pressed juices is opening in Spokane Valley. Beans & Berries is slated to open at the end of June on Mullan Road. The menu also includes coffee, smoothies, pastries, paninis, and breakfast burritos. (Jun 2025)

Five Below Inc. is making plans for a new location in Spokane Valley. The permit file shows tenant renovation in a 12,200 square foot space formally occupied by Party City. (Jun 2025)

Scale House Market, the new year-round market and mercantile at The Quarry in Spokane Valley officially opens. This once 50-acre rock quarry is now a hub for local vendors to sell and the public to enjoy. (May 2025)

North Carolina based company Labcorp purchased part of the Incyte Diagnostics clinical and anatomic pathology testing business including tow physical locations here in the valley. This acquisition will serve patients in areas including North Spokane, Deer Park, Post Falls, Hayden, and more. (May 2025)

BuyWander, Spokane Valley based company, seeks seed funding to expand into Seattle area. (May 2025)

New cross-country facility planned for Spokane Valley just north of the Spokane River. (Oct 2024)

AMI Metals warehouse proposed for the valley. The proposed project is a 100,000 square foot warehouse near the Amazon fulfilment center south of Trent and east of Barker. UPDATE June 2025 AMI Metals secured a 12.08 acre site to develop its 101,000 square foot warehouse with the intention of using the space for manufacturing, distribution, and office space all staffed by local hires. Spokane-area entrepreneur Jordan Allen is continuing his ventures in the area by partnering with co-founder Matt McGee to take returned but sellable items out of warehouses and away from landfills. Their new company BuyWander Inc, operating as Wander, will save retailers time, buyers money, and the planet’s health. (Feb. 2024)

Spokane Valley may soon get a recognizable entertainment and food establishment. As of earlier this month, Dave and Busters filed an application with the City of Spokane Valley to get the ball rolling on securing land and developing a 30,000 square foot building, just northwest of the Valley Mall (Jan 2024)
